your business by recruiting new agents, Cooke
Real Estate School partners with real estate
brokers across the State of Virginia to provide
real estate license courses by live video
conference in local real estate offices. |

The requirements for joining
are fairly simple, the brokerage firm needs
to designate a small room 10 x 12 (example)
for the classroom. The Salesperson License
Course goes Monday through Friday, so the
students need to get access to the classroom
from 8:30 A. M. to 5:00 P. M.
Most of our current partners have set up access
policies for students, such as a lockbox on
a side door.
The broker must also, have a DSL, T-1 or cable
connection to the Internet with a routable
(Static) IP address. Bandwidth needs to be
a minumim of 512 Kps upstream and 512 Kps
downstream.
The school also asks that the broker provide
an update 27 inch TV. The school recommends
a Sharp TV, for they cost only about $220.
The other requirements are to meet the students,
show them your facilities and make them feel
comfortable. |
Having
the real estate license courses taught in
your real estate office, such as the Salesperson
License Course, 30 Hour Post License Course,
etc. is an excellent method to meet new
perspective agents and to help develop an
image in your community as the "place for
real estate education".
Cooke has been using the video conferencing
method of presentation since 1999.
Since
that time we have had a number of brokers
join our school network. This partnership
arrangement has worked out well for many
brokers. Many of our brokers today are the
same brokers that have been in the program
since it inception in 1999 and continue
to be excited about it and what it brings
to their office. |
